A War Waged Through Hatred And Fear
Will we stand together or just stand by and let this continue?
When we realize that we are not a world made up of 195 countries but a world we have chosen to separate into 195 parts, perhaps we will see that we are in the end all brothers and sisters living on one earth. Isn't it time to stop allowing the powers that be to fill our minds with fear and hatred by telling us that bcuz someone thinks differently than us, worships differently than us, has chosen different traditions or behaves differently that they are against us, hate us and are our enemies... all so that we should be okay with turning our backs on them? Through the last hundred years each war has put more and more money into the pockets of a few and broken more and more hearts in the many families who lost loved ones that were enlisted to do their "duty" by unknowingly doing the dirty work for those nefarious few inciting the wars. And we stood by and allowed it to happen bcuz we thought that what they were telling us must be true... that they must have our best interest at heart, but the truth is they were in it for the money, the increase of power and control.
Then, those same nefarious few brought the war closer to home in many of the countries. They continuously, over a period of more than 3 years spread propaganda onto all and any media they could, to turn us against each other... to cause fear and conflict... to divide us further by locking us away from each other. And again these actions created outstanding riches for them. And once again we stood by. Well, in fact, this time we, in many cases, participated in helping them spread the propaganda and fear... allowing it to happen bcuz we thought that what they were telling us must be true... that they must have our best interest at heart, but the truth is they were once again in it for the money and the increase of power and control. And in the end it was the every day citizens who paid the price. It was for those of us who were left, to deal with the aftermath of our broken hearts missing those who died and it was us who were left scrambling and possibly struggling to try and feed, clothe and put a roof over our family's head while they sit aloft counting their money and absorbing their increased power and control.
And most recently in the last year these same people have brought the war even closer by using politics in North America to turn families and friends against each other. Both on social media and in person i have witnessed horrible things being said by the citizens bcuz someone supported a different political party than another. I have watched reports in one country of their leader literally wiping out certain parts of history, making attacks economically that are hurting their own citizens and threats that are alienating both of its neighbors and closest allies.
Maybe it is too late to turn this around but i hope not. What will it take for us to remember that whether we differ in opinion and beliefs or not we are all brothers and sisters... all one living on this beautiful planet? What will it take for us to say no we will not fight against each other, no we will not hate each other, no we will not turn our backs on each other? Rather we will stand side by side and show love, compassion, respect and kindness for each other and get through these difficult times together. So that when history looks back on THIS time, it will see it was a time when we chose to step past our differences and walk hand in hand into a future of a we society filled with sharing, kindness and hope.
Well said my love. You offer a succinct, heartfelt and accurate account of the past few years (the last century as well).
Thank you for illuminating these psychological warfare tactics for what they are while also shining a light on our ability to chose a different path guided by love, courage and respect.
